displays the height of hypocrisy and double standards. The Tel Aviv
suicide bombing, April 18, is abhorent and
tragic, but so is the murder of scores of Palestinian men women and children,
committed by the Israeli forces, in the few preceeding
weeks, and yet we do not recall any editorials of yours condemning these
war crimes, which have been condemned by all international and Israeli human
rights bodies. We see no mention of the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian
territories that has been allowed to stand for 39 years in defiance of
international law and repeated Security Council reolutions,
and the illegal practices throughout this occupation, in violation of virtually
every article of the Fourth Genevan Convention.
Our
politicians and media keep calling on the new Palestinian Government to recognise the state of

The Tel Aviv bombing on Mondayreceived intensive,
extensive, and poignant BBC coverage, including pictures of pieces of
human flesh shredded by the force of the explosion. Below is a partial
list from occupied Palestne of shellings,
killings, robberies, savage beatings, attacks on schools and infrastructure,
home demolitions, kidnappings, the use of sewage as a weapon, and more.
Virtually all of these Israeli government, military and
settler crimes went unreported. BBC viewers were told that
Is killing people with high explosives a crime only when the perpetrator
doesn't survive? If they go home for a cup of tea afterward and watch TV with
their own children, does that make child-murder any less of a crime? Tony Blair
and the BBC certainly think so.
The miracle is that so many see through the dishonesty of the BBC and
other major British media.
