Subject: Interview with Israeli ambassador
July 17, 2007
Your
interview, with the Israeli ambassador in the US, was lacking in substance and
relevance.
The
repeated ascription of terrorism to Palestinians is biased, as Israel created terrorism in the Middle East and its state terrorism is
continuing against Palestinians and others. The question about the Bush
statement about removing unauthorised outposts overlooks the fact that all Israeli settlements, in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, are illegal and in violation of
the Fourth Geneva Convention, and all must be removed.
Throughout
the interview there was no mention of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian and
Syrian territory that has been allowed to stand for 40 years in defiance
of international law and repeated Security Council resolutions.
Sincerely,
Ismail Zayid, MD.
Halifax, Nova Scotia.
