I wish to congratulate The CBC and Neil Macdonald on the humane and perceptive presentation of the real issues facing the Palestinian people under the oppressive occupation they are living under. Mr. Macdonald expressed eloquently the nature of the Jewish settlers' style and opulence in their illegal settlements, in the Gaza strip, contrasted with the misery and oppression under which the Palestinian refugees live, having already been uprooted from their homes and land 53 years ago.

I think, for this touch of humanity, Mr. Macdonald and the CBC deserve the gratitude of all those who claim to care for justice and humanity, so that they may understand better what drives people to resist such oppressive occupation.
