Subject: The formaldehyde process.
Jan. 6,2005
The Editor,
The Globe & Mail.
Dear Editor:
Shira Herzog, in her column:{ "Why Ariel Sharon is the real
man of the year" Jan.6}, is totally evading the real agenda behind Sharon's
"Disengagement Plan". His advisor, Dov Weisglass tells it as it is:
"The significance of our disengagement
plan is the freezing of the peace process. It supplies the formaldehyde
necessary so there is no political process with the
Palestinians."Ha'aretz, Oct. 6, 2004.
If this is what makes Sharon the man of the year,
then let us at least know exactly why.
Yours sincerely,
Ismail Zayid.
