The Editor,
The Globe & Mail.

Marcus Gee's article on Robert Fisk,:{"I am not a Muslim. I am a Journalist'" Nov.26}, is laden with polemics, distortion and bias.

Robert Fisk was wrong on his estimation of Saddam Hussein's army in 1991 and 1993. However, Fisk's reporting on Middle East affairs has been, regularly, fair and balanced. His analysis, of the destructive effects of the European Imperial designs and Israeli policies in the Middle East, has been accurate and now evident to all those who have independent and unbiased views of the happenings in the Middle East. His book " The Great War for Civilization" has been highly praised by authoratative sources.

Sincerely,

Ismail Zayid, MD.
