Dear Mr. Chretien:

Yesterday, three Israeli combat helicopters rocketed a van travelling on the highway near Bethlehem and killed a Palestinian Authority soldier and two elderly women bystanders and injuring more than 10 other by standers.

We wonder whether this terrorist premeditated action would call for any statement from yourself expressing your "revulsion at this cowardly and vicious act", to use your own words for another similar act in Jerusalem, or is the rocketing of a van by Apache helicopters less cowardly?
