Dear Sir/Madam;
 
I was stunned to hear the comment by Elizabeth Logan, this morning, after the Commentary by John Dirlik, which was substantial and accurate.
 
Why would Ms. Logan choose to make the comment that The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs [WRMEA}, to which John Dirlik contributes has a  pro-Palestinian sympathy? This is extraordinary, and I have not heard such comments made about other contributors.
 
For the record WRMEA is an American journal published by former American diplomats whose primary interest is to inform Americans about the affairs of the Middle East ,in the service of  American interests. Surely that informed American diplomats happen to know the real facts in the Middle East and are willing to offer unbiased information, unlike the numerous other publications we see in North america, should not denigrate from their balanced reporting.
