Dear Editor:

Your correspondent, Shahak Nagiel, in his objection {"Fiery Reactions.." Jan. 15}to your report on Israeli excessive violence and the killing of " Palestinian boys", asks " Where was the observation that they should be in school?" Wouldn’t it be more appropriate for him to ask the Israeli government why would they not terminate their illegal occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza which has remained for over 33 years, in defiance of international law and Security Council Resolutions? How long must Israel remain above international law?
